Alliance Solutions Engineer
The ideal candidate profile is oriented towards senior technical integration work at the intersection of product, partner ecosystem, and solution delivery.
-Several years of experience in solutions engineering, integrations, technical partnerships, field engineering, or product-adjacent engineering.
-Hands-on experience building and maintaining real integration artifacts.
-Strong partner- or customer-facing communication ability.
-Enough seniority to challenge weak assumptions, refuse out-of-scope work when necessary, and escalate cleanly.
-Enough practical delivery skill to turn a partner technical conversation into a working artifact within days or weeks when the work is in scope.
-Fluent English.
Partner Solution Engineer
This role is about turning technical expertise into practical solutions, enabling our partners to successfully deploy, support, and promote Vates technologies.
We are looking for someone with:
-Several years of experience in technical enablement, solution engineering, technical support or IT infrastructure.
-Enjoy sharing knowledge, empowering partners and simplifying complex technical topics.
-An interest in Open Source technologies and collaborative environments is highly valued.
-Fluent English and French
-Professional proficiency in German is required.
XCP-ng XAPI Developer
This position is ideal for a software engineer who enjoys working close to the core of a virtualization platform and tackling challenging technical problems.
We are looking for someone with:
-Bachelor’s degree to a Master’s degree in Computer Science, software engineering, software development, or information systems
-5 years of experience on development project in langage OCAML or several years of experience without degree.
-A professional experience in development within an open source environment is appreciated.
-Fluent English.
Hardware Compatibility List & Ecosystem Lead
We are looking for a technical and cross-functional professional who is comfortable with infrastructure, virtualization, and hardware environments, and who can bring teams and partners together around a strategic, high-impact project.
We are looking for someone with:
-Bachelor’s degree to a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Network & Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
-Several years of experience.
-Autonomous and pragmatic. Pulls in the right people (engineering, product, alliances, support, community).
-Player-coach: as happy designing the model as plugging a server in to test it.
-Fluent English.
Solution Expert
You will bridge the gap between customer needs and technical solutions, combining architectural expertise with a strong understanding of business requirements.
We are looking for someone with:
-Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent with 5–10 years of experience in software development, infrastructure engineering, or solution architecture.
-Strong expertise in:
-Virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM)
-Storage (SAN/NAS, performance tuning, redundancy)
-Networking (Switching iSCSI / Fiber Channel)
-Backup & DR (Veeam, snapshot strategies, RPO/RTO)
-High availability & production constraints

Responsable Relation & Programme Education
Help shape the future of tech education by building strategic partnerships with universities and developing the next generation of talent in open source and digital infrastructure.
Master’s degree (Engineering school, University, or Business school with a strong interest in technology).
3 to 7 years of experience in a similar role: institutional relations, partnership development, or education program management in a tech or open-source environment.
Key Skills:
-Strong knowledge of the French (and ideally European) education landscape: key stakeholders, structures, and decision-making processes
-Ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders: university CIOs, faculty members, executives, students
-Solid technical understanding — not necessarily a developer, but comfortable with concepts such as virtualization, infrastructure, and open source
-Experience in co-developing educational content or training programs
-Strong interest in managing cross-functional projects involving multiple internal stakeholders (training, sales, alliances, community, innovation)
-Understanding of education pathways and talent pipelines (engineering, systems, cloud, open source)
Personal Qualities:
-Autonomous with a strong sense of initiative
-Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to engage in the field
-Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders
-Strong belief in open source and the importance of digital sovereignty in education
