Missions
With the growing adoption of Vates’ virtualization solutions—by both open-source enthusiasts and businesses seeking paid support and services—streamlined sales operations have become crucial to support team efficiency and enable a seamless sales experience. We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to take on the following responsibilities:
- Analyze existing sales processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Co-create and implement new processes to streamline sales activities, collaborating closely with the sales team.
- Ensure adherence to processes across the sales team and other stakeholders.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, including product types, project types, and renewals, to provide valuable insights.
- Develop and implement forecasting tools and sales reporting for performance analysis and projections.
- Document processes and maintain updated sales protocols.
- Organize and deliver sales and technical training programs based on team needs and market trends.
- Onboard and mentor new sales team members to ensure a smooth integration and skill development.
- Master internal tools (including CRM) and maintain awareness of new technologies to recommend tools that improve daily operations for the sales team.
- Implement and test strategies for exploring new projects, markets, or sales approaches, in coordination with the team.
- Collaborate with marketing, support, and partner teams to grow revenue through new client acquisition, project expansions, and renewals.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken); a third language is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in sales operations or business and technical project management.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic vision to understand challenges and translate them into effective operational processes.
- Dynamic, self-motivated, curious, and willing to ask questions for deeper understanding.
- Organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Attentive to organizational needs, identifying areas for improvement and process enhancement.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to tactfully ensure process compliance across the team.
- Sufficient technical understanding to present and support Vates solutions for clients and partners as part of the extended sales team.
- Proficiency with data analysis, project planning, and data enrichment tools available in the market.
