Vates Partners Insight #4 - 2025 updates for Vates Partners
As we approach the second half of 2025, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together so far, and to share what’s coming next. Here’s a short overview of the key updates across our Partner Program, the Partner Portal, and upcoming initiatives.
An evolved Partner Program

Earlier this year, we introduced an updated structure to the Vates Partner Program. We now work with three dedicated partner types: MSP, Reseller, and CSP. Each path has its own benefits and expectations. If you haven’t yet explored the full breakdown, please check our official blog post for more details.
As a reminder, we’ve officially discontinued all Legacy licenses. As a result, new orders and renewals for legacy services are no longer available. If you’re still managing legacy deployments, now is the time to transition to our current bundles. Our entire team is here to support you through the process.
Partner growth in numbers
From January to June 2025, we’ve welcomed 88 new partners into the Vates Partners network. The most active regions include the US, France, Canada, Germany, Australia, UK, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, and Mexico.

We’re taking the time to personally onboard each new partner. Our goal is to build meaningful, long-term collaborations.
In addition, partner-generated revenue has doubled compared to the same period in 2024. This is a shared success, and we thank you for your continued trust and engagement.
Partner Portal updates
Here are some of the improvements we’ve introduced recently:
- A fully revamped Quotes and Shop section: simpler, faster, easier to use;
- License renewals now available directly through the platform;
- Automated credit card payments directly in the Portal;
- Upgrades with automated prorated calculations, for both quotes and orders;
- The ability to manually enter the Customer when creating quotes, ideal for public sector;
- Add PO numbers and internal references when quoting or ordering;
- Automated reminders for expiring quotes and inactive customers;
- Improved mobile experience for most key features, with more to come;
We’ve also enhanced the Partner Locator:
- We are now listing Partner Types and Certifications;
- New search and filtering options for easier navigation.
What’s coming next
We’re actively working on new developments that will further strengthen our ecosystem:
- A fourth partner type is in the works: Distributor. Additional information will be shared shortly;
- We’re preparing to announce our first distributor in France;
- The second wave of our VMOVE campaign is coming, with new incentives to support migrations from VMware to Vates;
- We’re building our Elite Partner Program, focused on deeper collaboration and shared growth with a limited number of selected partners. If you’re interested in being part of it, we’d love to hear from you!
