Vates at FOSDEM 2026
On January 31rd and February 1st, the Vates, XCP-ng and XOA teams are excited to make their way to Brussels for FOSDEM, marking our 10th visit! You can find us in building H, level 1. FOSDEM is a beloved open-source event in Europe that has been around for quite some time.
It's completely free to attend, organized by passionate volunteers, and focuses on projects and communities. The talks are technical, the discussions are straightforward, and the emphasis is on real work that’s actively being used in the field.
That alone makes it a fantastic event to support.
FOSDEM is a place to listen, learn, and talk with people who work on long-term open source projects. That is why we will be there again.
These spaces are open to anyone who wants to follow the projects, ask questions, or contribute.

Members of the Vates team will be present throughout the event. As always, most of our discussions will happen informally, either between talks, on our booth or outside the conference venues.
Our Xen project friends will have their booth next to ours.
